7.29.26 - Let's celebrate NASA! The National Aeronautics and Space Administration was formed on this day in 1958. It is responsible for the United States' civil space program, as well as research in aeronautics and space. The headquarter of NASA is located in Washington, D.C.		7.28.26 - Another full moon is on the rise! Look up in the sky to see the nearly perfect full moon! This is the eighth full moon we have in 2026. It is called a "Buck Moon" because this is the time of year when male deer begin to regrow their antlers, or “bucks.” Depending on your location, it will reach its exact full phase at 10:37 a.m. EDT tomorrow.

7.14.26 - Happy Bastille Day! Today is a national holiday in France, marking the anniversary of the fall on July 14, 1789, of the Bastille, in the city of Paris, France. It was the beginning of the French Revolution, and it thus became a symbol of the end of the ancien régime. The national anthem, "La Marseillaise" was written in 1792, during the war against Austria.		7.8.26 - Happy Birthday, Percy Grainger! George Percy Grainger was an Australian composer, arranger, conductor, and pianist, born at Brighton, in 1882. He moved to the USA in 1914 and became an American citizen in 1918. Some of his famous works included "Molly on the Shore", "The Warriors" and "Country Gardens", all in various ensemble arrangements.
