Born on this day in 1833 in Hamburg, Germany, Brahms was famous for composing music in the Romantic Period with many of the Classical Period techniques. All four of his Symphonies were in the Classical style, rather than the Programmatic style. His famous works were Hungarian Dance No.5, Lullaby, German Requiem, and more.
