In 2004, Luciano Pavarotti performed his final role as Cavaradossi in Tosca. He sang more often at the Met than at any other opera house in the world. New productions with him as the lead tenor were on a regular basis: I Puritani, La Bohème, La Favorita, Un Ballo in Maschera, Idomeneo, Ernani, Il Trovatore, Rigoletto, L’Elisir d’Amore, I Lombardi, and Andrea Chénier.

Daylight saving time is meant to save energy and capitalize on more sunlight during the day and has been in place for over 100 years. The practice began after the Standard Time Act was passed and went into effect back in March 1918, as the Library of Congress notes. Since 2007, daylight saving time has been observed in the United States on the second Sunday in March.
